About us

Options for Life is a community based support service for people with intellectual and/or behavioral challenges. We believe in Work! Our program is designed to engage participants in their community, while teaching them good work habits.

Our participants range from a person with no words who may be incontinent and require much assistance and prompting from staff, to people who are articulate, capable and living independently.

Options for Life provides a variety of volunteer opportunities for our participants daily. We offer work training to those participants who want to hone their job skills prior to finding employment. Incentives are given to these participants to help encourage and motivate their continued training.

Options for Life staffing is at a 1:3 average ratio. When necessary we can provide 1:1 staffing to those individuals who require a higher level of support.

Options for Life also provides fun recreational activities in which the participants choose according to their interests.

Options for Life provides its own daily transportation to and from our program. We pick up and drop off participants who are unable to independently use public transportation to and from their homes.

All OFL vehicles have an OFL supervisor on board and all drivers are safety certified and behaviorally trained.
